When we thought that we had the best moments together from our past trips, London raised the level too high! The experience is very hard to explain although we did explain it a hundred times already. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I can never explain enough about the whole adventure because … Continue reading UNEXPECTEDLY IN LONDON
I am willing to set aside all other tourist attractions in Portugal but not Fatima. As if there was something inside of me that pushed me to be here. And as if everthing were destined, Mama Mary had apparitions to the 3 shepherd children every 13th of the month for 6 straight months. I was … Continue reading PORTUGAL FOR A WEEK! PART II- FATIMA
Without too much intro, Portugal is the only eye destination for my 28th birthday. To be honest, Lisbon was never our option. We are set to spend the whole week on the beach side besides Portugal is know for it's world-class coast. Paradise is the perfect adjective to describe it. From NY, to our next destination.. It was an easy 5 hour bus ride from Chinatown to Washington (I forgot from which bus company did we booked, Megabus, I think? For sure it was the cheapest though! Hahaha! But still, I have to give them a 5 star review!) We stayed for a night at District Hotel at Rhode Island Ave http://dcembassyinn.wixsite.com/district. It was a very comfortable stay, we had a spacious room and all the essentials were provided, not to forget it's in the heart of the city.
Why New York? First, it was the cheapest state to travel from Oslo. Second, MJ had been in NY for his field trip few years back and he wanted to visit again. Third, I wanted to check off the city that never sleeps from my bucket list.
