You are my 30th country and thank you for making my 28th birthday a good one!
I am willing to set aside all other tourist attractions in Portugal but not Fatima. As if there was something inside of me that pushed me to be here. And as if everthing were destined, Mama Mary had apparitions to the 3 shepherd children every 13th of the month for 6 straight months. I was … Continue reading PORTUGAL FOR A WEEK! PART II- FATIMA
Without too much intro, Portugal is the only eye destination for my 28th birthday. To be honest, Lisbon was never our option. It was a very comfortable stay, we had a spacious room and all the essentials were provided, not to forget it's in the heart of the city.
Why New York? First, it was the cheapest state to travel from Oslo. Second, MJ had been in NY for his field trip few years back and he wanted to visit again. Third, I wanted to check off the city that never sleeps from my bucket list.
Someone said, on earth there is no heaven, but there are pieces of it and I am convinced that big pieces of it are in Santorini.
One day prior to our trip to Bohol, an awful typhoon wrecked the province. I got an e-mail saying that our flight could not push through. Nonetheless, thanks to AirAsia for an easy and well handled re-booking. However, Henann Resorts, can not give us the same room we booked for the new dates, which turned … Continue reading CANCELLED TRIP TO BOHOL: TURNED OUT TO BE A SPECIAL GET AWAY
